You should include:

  • your salary/wages
  • regular overtime or commission
  • shift payments
  • car allowance
  • any pensions you receive (work, state or war)
  • maternity or paternity pay
  • any allowances you receive (disability living allowance, severe disability allowance and carers allowance)
  • if you are self employed, include your net profit, any property income and directors remuneration.
