Do I need to activate my insurance products and benefits?

You don’t need to register for breakdown or travel cover. However, for travel cover, if you or anyone insured on this policy have any pre-existing medical conditions, you should inform AIG, as these may affect your travel insurance cover. You can contact them on 0345 602 2369. You can also update your details by visiting the My Benefits website

You don’t need to register your mobile phone or gadgets to be covered but to help you with any future claims and to simplify the claims process, you can provide your mobile phone/gadget details. You will need the following information when registering your mobile/gadget; make, model, IMEI number/serial number, memory size (where applicable) and telephone number.

For the ID Defender credit reports and web detect services, you will need to activate these online.
