How do I send money outside the UK?

You’ll need to use your branch to send money outside the UK. Make sure you bring this information with you:

  • IBAN (International Bank Account Number) for the destination Account or BIC (Bank Identifier Code).
  • Receiving bank’s name, address (including country), and SWIFT code. Name, address (including country) and the account number of the receiving account holder.
  • Sterling amount to be transferred.

Alternatively, you can download an international payment form and bring the completed form with when you visit your branch.
